TESS was an EU-funded FP7 project on community-based initiatives, which ran from 2013 to 2016.

  • The TESS Track-It! tool was developed so CLI could easily estimate their GHG emissions avoided through their activities, against national average consumer behaviour, in different domains (such as transport, waste processing, food and energy), and so communicate and reflect upon their contribution to a low carbon lifestyle. [1]

Carbon scoreboard: Assesses the greenhouse gas (GHG) reduction potential that is achieved through their activities: developed a simplified method so that initiatives can estimate the emissions of their activities in a rigorous manner given a limited amount of input data." [1]
