This wiki operates as a knowledge commons that invites and welcomes co-creation from all those interested in community-led action on climate change and sustainability.

Content is freely available to browse and read. If you want to contribute to developing content, you'll need to get in touch to request an account.

Creating an account implies that you support the aims, values and principles listed in our community agreements.

First Steps with Wiki

If you're new to working with a wiki, here is a quick step-by-step guide:

• Create your User Page to present yourself to other wiki users. You can also use this page to communicate with other wiki users and keep track of the changes you have made
• Read about the philosophy of wikis
• Get acquainted with the basics of Wikicode to be able to create and edit articles
• Learn how to navigate in wikis
• Start creating and editing content here on the CfF wiki, following our editorial guidelines

As CfF wiki is stil in its early stages, we've added some additional guidelines for CfF wiki pioneers.

Levels of Engagement

You can contribute to the CfF wiki at different levels:

Engaged user

You can provide feedback on specific wiki pages via the 'talk page' accessed through the 'Discussion' tab near the top left of each page. We request that you follow the formatting conventions in the Mediawiki user guide, which ensures that discussions are clear and easy to follow.

Content editor

If you'd like to help improve existing content and add new content you'll need to follow our editorial guidelines. If you aren't already familiar with MediaWiki, you'll find the help pages on editing existing pages and creating new pages useful.

Content curator

If you want to contribute to coordinating and managing content organisation and development in any specific subject area, you can join (or initiate) the circle of content managers for that topic. In addition to a good existing knowledge of and commitment to your chosen subject/s, you'll need to be familiar with the conceptual background behind content organisation and understand how we use categories for organisation of content. If you'd like to get involved at this level, please contact the site curators.

Site curator

Site curators take overall responsibility for curation of the site, including its strategic orientation, organisation and management of content, facilitation of the user community and monitoring and updating community agreements. Involvement at this level is usually associated with participation in a relevant project involving ECOLISE and/or member and partner organisations also involved in the Communities for Future programme.
